Washington D.C. with Amanda

Kevin and I haven't seen Amanda in two long years! When she notified us she would be coming to Virginia for her annual training for the navy, we knew there was no way we would let the opportunity slip by. Amanda has always been like a sister to me, and I to her. We laugh until our bellies hurt, share stories, and rejoice in the small things in life that make you giggle. Amanda and I have the same passion for life, for seeing and experiencing everything we can, and most of all the love of simply spending time with those you love. The whole weekend was a blast and felt like very little time had passed since the last time we saw one another.

We spent Friday catching up, Saturday sightseeing in Washington, D.C., and ended the weekend on Sunday with a vintage photo shoot. I've been wanting to get into portrait photography and Amanda was kind enough to let me do her hair, makeup and wardrobe...a guinea pig, if you will.

Kevin and I have always had a close relationship with Amanda and I truly can't wait until we can see each other again sometime. I know throughout our lives we will always make time to visit one another...next time, we might go see her!
