New years was a blast! I can't remember the last time we actually celebrated the new year...most of the previous years were spent on the couch watching the ball drop in New York, or simply just going to bed when we were tired and saying "goodnight honey, see you in the new year!"
This year however, not only did we celebrate at Pensacola Beach, but were also introduced to new friends who invited us over for hamburgers and hot dogs, and to watch college football (Auburn University vs. Virginia Cavaliers). After dinner, we went to the beachfront to cheers with drinks at midnight, and when we got home we lit sparklers and called it a night! Florida has been such a fun and welcoming state...I cannot wait to see what this year will bring! Happy new years everyone!
